You do not need a partner for some sessions.  For others, the club may be able to organise one for you if you ring them at least an hour before the session starts.   Check each session above.

Beginners who have just graduated from lessons will find the Monday Night and Thursday Morning sessions most suitable.  Once you are ready for a little more challenge, you could try Wednesday Morning, Section B: you will need to have a partner for session.

For events that are labelled as Teams events or Swiss Pairs (see WHAT'S ON) you generally need to pre-enter and attend each session of the event (or organise a substitute) - you cannot play for just one session of the event as you can with pairs events.

Systems and System Cards.  NZ Bridge has a guide to what comprises Junior and Intermediate systems.  Use of System Cards is encouraged - a template can be found here.

All regular club events award NZ Bridge Master Points explained here. 40C points are awarded first place, and other postions on a sliding scale.

You may also wish to refer to the club policy on Conduct and Etiquette, and Rules for Events, and Psyches.
